Review Methodology

This collection brings together patient reviews of Dr. Catherine Cahill, MD, from Google Maps and a previously supplied patient-review collection. The reviews are labeled Google and Prior Review to identify their source.

Of the 381 reviews, 197 were parsed from Google and 184 came from the previously supplied collection. The collection is curated, not complete, and not a live feed.

The overall average and rating breakdown reflect the entire collection and may differ from the current Google Maps rating. Rating-only entries do not count toward text-based topics. Topic matches are not clinical assessments or verified surgical outcomes.

Missing text has not been added to reviews supplied as excerpts.

The displayed 4.95 is the mean of whole-number 1–5 ratings across every review in the collection, including 13 rating-only entries with no written comment.

Topic labels are simple, case-insensitive phrase matches against review text. Counts reflect the full collection and do not change when star filters are applied. A match does not mean the reviewer’s experience was about that topic in a clinical sense.

• Negative reviews are kept as originally rated.
• Some excerpts are incomplete because the source truncated them.
• Dates shown as month and year are estimated from relative dates and anchored to when the source was captured, rather than an exact posting day. Relative times like “edited” are not original post dates.
• No structured star-rating markup is published for search engines.
